    I've just updated to build 4536 but i still have a very annoying problem, which in also had with the first build.

    My system:

    Mac Pro early 2008

    OS X 10.6.1

    Logic 9

    Whenever i make changes to a logic instrument, like deleting a track of a multi-output instrument or changing the output of an instrument, about half the time ALL VE Pro instances, both 32-bit and 64-bit will reload ALL samples.

    With over 10GB of samples loaded this takes quite a lot of time.

    Is this a VE Pro bug, or am i missing something?

    I have no idea what the answer is to that question but an idea that comes to mind is be sure you "preserve" all your windows so that they will stay loaded.  That may make the reloads become instant.  i can't confirm this though, just an idea.

    i would suspect that logic is already running close to it´s 4 GB ram limit. that´s when i had the same behaviour with kontakt in logic, before i used VEpro. have a look at the activity monitor. maybe you can outsource some more instruments to VEpro instances?

    clueblast: I have outsourced all instruments. Logic is running with about 500MB of ram.
