    Can someone please test for me that the downloads are working for MIR and MIR Roompack?  I triggered my demo and I have been trying all day long to download them.  They keep getting dropped with an error message saying that the server has reset the connection.  I have to then start the download again.  Want to be sure it's not my ISP or firewall causing this.

    Seems I have some debugging to do on my Cisco Firewall and Router.  Took it out of the mix and the download worked perfectly.  Lately it's been acting up and blocking a lot of pages sporadically.  Time to rebuild the config on it.

    Guys, sorry to bump, but is dl.vsl.co.at working? I just purchased MIR but I cannot download any file, it just gives me a a Network Error (tcp_error), "The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time." Please help..

     Hi kage49,

    we've just checked the downloader. There was a temporary connecting problem which should have been be solved now.

    I've just checked all downloadfiles of MIR, and everything seems to work here.

    Please, could  you give another try.

    thx for the heads-up ... from time to time we notice certain download managers going wild and so blocking most other requests.

    i kicked the guy (who requested more than 5000 files within a few minutes) and the line is free again.

    sorry anyway for the inconvenience ... christian

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

     hmmm, can't confirm, downloads here  .... the log shows a fast order of download starts and cancellations from changing IP addresses for you.

    i'll send you an email with some questions regarding your internet connection - christian
