    This should be simple, but I can't make this work...

    I have VE 2.0 loaded in Pro Tools on an instrument track, and I'm controlling/triggering it successfully.  What I want to do is split the audio outputs for various instruments to their own audio tracks.  When I create a new track, one of my audio input options is from the plug-in: I can choose from Stereo 2-Stereo 16.  But I can't get a signal.  What step am I missing?

    The goal here is to have one plug-in outputting different instruments to different tracks.  Is this not possible?
