  • VE PRO is a crowning achievement!

VE PRO is a crowning achievement!

Really elegant software. Effortless in fact. Supreme layout (only crticism I have is that the color of busses should stand out more from the instruments)......The best part is IT JUST WORX!! I set it up between my Mac Host and a PC slave.......Im using the ethernet ports from my AT&T U-Verse cable TV box (its gigabit) It worx..........no more sound-cards (midi will still have to use MOL because of AU) but nevertheless......

Thanx for some really great software guys!!

    SvK

First off, thanks for the kind words [:D]

I guess you know that you can change the color of the tracks yourself... However, we don't have a feature to select the "default" colors (yet).

  • I'll join in. For the last year I had been a bit cheesed off with VSL as I was forced to upgrade to VI for a lot of money,  but for me VE Pro is the first major piece of software that I installed that is essentially flawless. It replaces many channels of Digidesign 192 digitals (totally overpriced), two RME HDSP cards, MidiOverLan licenses, etc, with two single Cat6 cables. I know VE3 worked over LAN, but the memory preserve function was the deal-breaker. My problem with it though, is that it leaves me with no-one to blame when my music is not good enough.

  • I've been raving about VE Pro to a number of other composers I work with and we're going to implement it into their setups soon. I wouldn't stop at saying that it's revolutionary. The individual technologies that it employs have been around for some time in various forms, but VSL has successfully sewn it all together in a sleek and streamlined package and I am an avid adopter.

    Cheers!

  • I have been working an extensive environment in Logic Pro to control Kontakt and various midi situations, for the last 5 years... All this time dealing with the dreaded : "can't process-can't compute-can't play-can't syncronize-can't do what i'm suppose to" answers of Logic to the "play" spacebar command. So for me VE Pro comes to the rescue of Logic Pro, simply. It makes it finally usable and so I hear for the first time the results of 5 years of environment template development. It fills me with such delight it's almost obscene. I'm afraid we're dealing with genius ground breaking software here. Because of it "there is no-one to blame anymore when the music is not good enough" as Dom says. And so did SVK say it clear: it is indeed a crowning achievement ! BTW i realy enjoy this forum. And would like to say to the VSL team: thank you. Nox Montreal musician
