  • VEpro distorting my digital buses

    Hi everybody,

I have a new, very nasty problem.

I'm running Logic 9.01 on my quadore intel xeon 3,0, 16 GB Ram, VEpro with one 64 bit and one 32 bit server. I have digitally connected 2 Bricasti M7 , running thru my Symphony Apogee AD DA 16x.

When I change an output setting on one of the servers (ie add a new input) suddenly my 2 Bricastis become completely distorted and get massive amounts of delay . Only remedy is: Quit Logic and VEpro and restart.

This happened yesterday about 5 times, so basically it's not possible to work.

    Anybody knows about this ?

  • Hi kosi.me,

I´m not sure I understand right - where do you change the output settings? In the preferences? In the mixer window? What does it have to do with the inputs - do you mean audio input channels in VE PRO?

Thanks for more details in advance!

    Best,

    Paul

  • Yeah, thats the funny thing, it has nothing to do with each other.

My setup: bus 1 and bus 2 in Logic are connected to aux 1 and aux 2.

Each  aux has an I/O object as  Insert, which is digitally connected to my Bricastis. (Pretty Regular setup) Output of Auxes goes to Master Out 1/2. I use this for all my instruments and audio.

Then I change something in VEpro Server and suddenly both Bricastis are distorted. It's very easy to repeat here. I never had this before with any other software.

I hope, you understand what I'm talking :)

    regards,
