    Hi there,

    First of all i wanna say it's a great piece of software! Thanks vsl!

    Problem: if i want to reopen a saved project (no matter if it's a viframe or a mframe) with the 64bit server or instance on my slave computer (Mac PPC Dual 2 GHz G5, 12GB RAM, OS 10.5.8), no samples are loaded. I set the whole thing up using the "add" button in server window and also through connection via host sequencer (Logic 9.0.1 on a Mac Pro Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 10.6.1). Panning and Vienna Instruments are loaded, but the sounds are missing. Tried it also in standalone. No luck there either. But no problems with the 32bit instances. And i know, it's not supported on PPC...[*-)] 

    I'm using the latest version of eLicenser Control Center

    Both applications (32 and 64) work perfectly on my host.

    anyone else with the same problem? or even better - with a solution?[8-|]

    Often the preset window on the right of my Vienna Instruments is empty.  Here's my fix:

    Switch to the server program.  On the top left of the menu bar under the program name is the "Directory Manager"

    Open that and then click the button that says "Rescan Existing" (Don't have the program open at the moment, but it's something like that).

    Quit the program and re-open it.

    Open a standalone Vienna Instrument and see if the presets are there.

    I have this happen about 40% of the time.

    thanks, but i always can see the vienna presets. what i can't do is reopen a saved viframe or mframe.  the samples won't load.

    Out of interest - have you managed to exceed 2 GB Ram usage on a PPC using VE Pro 64 bit?

    I too have found it runs but have not stretched it yet.

    Yes!!! That's the good news! I've only tested as far as 8 GB till now. But i really think that i'll be able to use all of the 12 GB in my slave.

    But can you save an then reopen?

    Did a full reinstall (incl. trashing all prefs) of VE Pro on the slave. still no luck.

    -Zeroed out my HD and did a full reinstall of OS 10.5.8 on my mac ppc slave

    -New update of VE Pro (build 4536)

    -Latest syncrosoft eLicenser software (Version: 6.0.2.7002)

    Has ANYONE managed to successfully load a saved session/viframe/metaframe with the 64bit instance on a Mac G5 PPC (Slave)?
