  • first of all  jamstix2 only works in drum module mode

1 no.it might be implemented but nobody cares anyway, midi out option would be good too

2 no.if it had effect plug in version

3 you are a jobless poor guy.why did you buy this expensive thing  before trying

I am a unreasonable man .it is a good concept  and still is good buy.it will have its uses  but luxury for me

I tried to find out more about a "song start message", but I couldn´t find anything useful Any other Jamstix 2 users around?

Regarding Input channels: These cannot be used for external input when used in network mode on a slave machine.

    Sorry for overlooking your mail!

    Best,

    Hi again funktional,

you´re confusing me here. What is a "drum module mode"?

    1) Why would you need a MIDI OUT option from VE PRO? It´s not a sequencer, "just" a host....

    2) ?

    3) hard to say. It looks really good, I understand your decision.

We´ll do our best to look into this. I have not worked with JamStix2 before. Any help from fellow user also appreciated here.

    Best,
    Paul

  • hi Paul

thank you for your replies and sorry for confusing you

jamstix is a different kind of drum software(real-time groove composition using dedicated style and drummer modeling).it has four modes of operarating http://www.rayzoon.com/jamstix2.html

    1 regular drum module  mode

2 jam with audio  (jamstix interpretes the coming audio to compose its patterns)

3 jam with midi    (jamstix interpretes the coming midi to compose its patterns)

4 jam with no input (where you compose your patterns or modify exsisting midi grooves)

I am able to get the sound with just  drum module mode with ve 3 (no sound comes with the other 3 modes even I hit the  kit  peices on its interface) probably it needs song information from the host

midi out option  In this example I would use the jamstix midi out to trigger other drum modules in my  mac

audio track effect    If the ve pro had a effect version (two way audio communication  on ethernet  to use cpu hungry effects on the slave like fxteleport)

thank you for  your support        (so far I have been using vst3 version I will report back with vst2)

    peace
