Sibelius doesn't play brass instruments correctly (VSL SE)

Hi guys,

recently moved to sibelius. NOW: I watched the video, installed the sound sets, but for some reason the brass playback doesn't work correctly. I've assigned the instruments to their respective staves, but instead of playing the proper instrument, Sibelius moves from tuba to trombone to horn to trumpet depending on the note's pitch, regardless of staff. I've used no custom matrices, just the factory ones.

Can somebody help me here?

Hello Roc!

That sounds a bit odd. Can you give a little more details? Which Sibelius instruments do you use in your score? Do all instruments behave strangely or do some instruments switch correctly? How many staves do you have and how many programs did you set up on the Manual Sound Sets page?

Yeah...sorry, I automatically assumed that it was clear I'm using SE. And I have sibelius 6, but that shouldn't make a difference from what I've read.

Anyway, I figured it out and it was just stupid MIDI routing, which usually NEVER happens to me. Sorry for the bother, but thanks for the attempted help :-)
