  • More Problems with VE PRO...Audio Unit Stopped Working (solved)

    I was using it in L9 and changing some patches in Omnisphere.  I got the spinning beach ball then VE PRO server crashed.  I quit everything relaunched the computer and now Logic gives me an error message saying the Audio Unit has a problem please contact the manufacturer.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the software but still have the same results.  Any ideas?


  • Please attach the crash log to the post, alternatively send it to vsl support  - and we will have a look at the issue.


  • Logic did not crash only VE PRO server.  Is there a crash log for your software?

    Any idea how to get the Audio Unit working again?

  • I got it working again by using Cleanapp to uninstall...repaired permissions....reinstalled and it is working again.


  • I´d recommend to rescan AU plug in´s in Logic´s Audio Unit Manager as a first step whenever an Audio Unit plug-in crashes.

  • I rescanned and it failed.  After uninstalling, repairing permissions, reinstalling, and then rescanning did I get it to work.  Who knows, but al is working again.
