Articulation changes in Logic
What ist the best way to change the articulations in Logic? I am using the score-editor in order to create notations I want to print and have tried the Combo Remapper. But this does not really work well. If you use keyswitches you always have the problem that the keyswitch-notes have to be erased if you want to print the score. If you mute them to make them invisible they do not work as keyswitches any more. Does anyone have suggestions? What about the other notation programs? Do they work better? I would like to go on using Logic in order to combine electroacoustic methods with classical notation.

Logic is fine for what you want to do. It's very simple to do what you want done. Here is how I do it.
1. Forget about Combo Remapper, just use key switches. They are much faster to put in and work with. Set your key switches to the lowest possible notes available which is C~1 (I use this range for all instruments to keep consistency as . This will put them at the most extreme bottom of the score.
2. Use the piano roll to input the key switch notes, not the score editor. It's much faster and far easier.
3. Open a score window. Then open the score preferences and change the "view" so that it no longer shows these notes in the score. You accomplish this by editing the layout. In the Staff Styles window (menu Layout > "Staff Styles..." or double-click on the Style name in the Display Parameter Box), on the left side.
4. In this window on the left side you will see an instrument name with a drop down arrow (which lets you choose other instruments in the score) as well as "highest note" and "lowest note".
5. Hover your curser over top of "Lowest Note" and scroll up until it's at C0.
Now you won't see any notes from C-1 to B-1 which should give you plenty of key switch space and won't mess up your score printouts. The only time this would be a problem would be for a serious piano score that uses those notes. In that case though I don't think you'd need key switches.
