I'm trying to work on my reverb settings and was hoping some of you pros could help me out. The strings I use are SISS on my gigastudio slave. But I hope to get the Appassionata Strings Soon. I don't use the gigapulse samples included. Here is how I have my setup for Strings as an example:
Altiverb 6 Todd AO ( m to st narrow mics at 3m50 ) I position the speaker to the left a little. I turn of the Tail but leave early reflections on. Everything Else is left at stock setting.
On my Master bus I load the WAVES IR-1 and load a medium hall setting and turn of the early reflections and set the early reflection pre-delay to 0ms. ( P.S I was thinking of buying the Acousticas L300 for the IR-1) Could anyone suggest a better setup or perhpas point out what I am doing wrong?
