Hi,
How would I do that? I do not have enough RAM to load full matrices. Is it possible to load just four patches and still use the VST expression maps?

You will probably find it more practical in the long term to customize patches and controllers to your own setup-
Open an empty VI-Click "patch assign" and load your preferred patches to the required Matrix
If you need to keyswitch between Matrices you can modify this in"control edit"
Click "Perform"-control click the parameter required then move the controller required(mod wheel etc),
Save this "new" instrument by clicking "Preset select" and clicking the floppy disk icon.
In much the same way as above you can modify and save the preset Vienna instruments.
Hope this helps!

Hi Fred
How about loading up a full instrument, then remove the articulations you think you can do without, and then save this as your custom matrix/perform?
Its fairly easy to do and in this way your special matrix stays compatible with existing VST expression maps ( there will just be some articulation which will pick an empty cell - so you cannot use those ).
