MIR works with anything, but you would have to feed MIDI to it in the same way as you would a standalone. however, you would also need to use something like Total Recorder to record the audio output.

When I was using Vienna Suite & Ensemble, I just used a record tool in Sibelius and that worked perfectly. By the way, there were special Sibelius - Vienna Ensemble sound set things designed to make the whole thing easier. I'll try MIR tonight and see what happens.
Were you using VE as a standalone though?

Anyway...the sound is flawless...it simply does not sound like "artificial" reveb, it just sounds natural and effortless, very impressive.Me likes it alot.
😊 ... great. This is exactly what MIR was made for.
No, no error message,,it just froze when i moved one of the icons .
yeah i see the point in keeping it VSL only.
BUt nowdays, myself (and alot of other people) hardly stick to just VSL when doing mockups...so not having the option to open it all in MIR makes it much less attractive, for me at least. The MIR PRO will be even more expensive i assume?
This might be a dumb idea, but wouldnt it be a good thing to have a RECORD function in there, so you didnt have to route the outputs to some other app\computer in order to capture the end result?
Come to think of if...why dont you throw in a midi sequencer as well, hehe :D
And pehaps...the option to save individual "track presets", or instrument configurations? So one could quickly assemble a full mix from a empty stage, with all the plugins, positioning and other relevant settings saved with each instrument\section icon?
One question...it seems the erea you can move the different icons is dependent on the type of instrument?
Like, i cannot move the Violins all the way to the back if i want to? You can only move the different instruments around on a very small portion of the stage? or did i miss something?
Anyway...its very techincal...lol, ..some of the options and menus are waaaay above my competance and understanding .
But it does indeed sound wonderfull :D
If you don't have activated the HOTSPOT button, you could do so.
The highlighted area will show where you can place an instrument.
In the Mozart Saal venue it's the stage and two areas on the balconies left and right.
If you drag an instrument icon outside of the highligted areas, it will jump back to it's initial position.

Did you install the room pack?well...i hit the hotspot button...but there is no way i can get MIR to load more than one in the center.
Hitting the load venue button displays the default trial room, but there are no more hotspots loaded after i hit ok.
That cant be right?

Sorry if asked before but if I order the demo and download all the files to try... Will I have to download other files to use the full version or it's the same but another license ?
Thanks !
