• Will MIR have a trial?

Like Vienna Suite, will Vienna MIR have a trial of some sort? I'd highly appreciate a trial of some kind, thanks.

  • Yes, we are working on it right now.

Most likely, you will be able to use MIR for one month with one complete IR-set form the Vienna Konzerthaus / Mozartsaal.

We will make an official announcement ASAP.

Be aware, though, that the minimal system requirements are pretty high. -> http://vsl.co.at/en/211/497/1687/455/1666/1328.htm

  • i think there are considerations to create a demo roompack (downloading 4 GB for a demo seems to make not too much sense to me ...)

however the more important question for me would be how to make sure the computer intended to run a MIR demo meets the specs to avoid disappointment ....

haha ... dietz was much faster ;-)

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Wow, it seems the buy button is active now....Also, while my specs are lower than the MIR 'minimum', I'm still interested in trying the demo. Because even while using Appassionata strings I & the SE at the same time in big templates, I still can keep the ram under 1GB, even though I have 8GB. I have a Quad-Core Intel too. I'll tell you how successful I am at running the demo, hehe.

Don't expect too much. - You are aware of the fact that MIR is Vista/W7 64 bit only?

  • Yeah, my specs are Vista 64, 8GB Ram, Quad Core Intel, 1TB Hard disk space, external Hard disk space 250GB. I'm posting this away from my computer & I've forgotten the exact name of the graphics card but it was a Geforce with 1GB. I'm not expecting it to work massively, but I am curious to see if it can get going. EDIT: We'll see what happens...
