Hello Peter!
There is no such sound set yet, as it would be an elaborate task to create it and I'm not sure how many users out there would actually use it.
Mallets can be used easily without a sound set. For all unpitched percussion instruments there is a workaround to have all the articulations at hand without a sound set. Here is an excerpt of the "Optimizing Sibelius playback" manual you find in your User Area under Overview/Needful Things/Sibelius Sound Sets:

Just out of curiosity (and as someone who is just embarking on an move from FInale to Sibelius) I wonder could I get a copy of this soundset too. Also is it difficult to create soundsets in Sibelius and is there a tutorial somewhere?

Actually, does anybody have any clever tricks they can share about setting up general percussion stations in Sibelius and VE/VI? My main problem, at the moment, is setting up a staff with 3 suspended cymbals. Since all the cymbals available are single patches, I'd have to load each desired cymbal into a separate cell, then switch between them manually, I suppose. This seems pretty tweaky, to me... Any other tricks or suggestions for this kind of thing?
thanks in advance,
J.
