    Im not sure what it is but VSL special edition (XSKey) is crashing my system everytime i load a project with VSL in it. 

    im running. OS 10.5.7 and Logic 8.0.2

    Is there a new update that fixes this?  I have to restart my computer all the time now....and sometimes that works.  any thoughts?

    hi - XSkey and VI Special Edition (ViennaKey) are different things, actually logic 8 does no longer require an XSkey.

     

    i'd recommend to reboot, repair permissions on your system volume (disk utility), then open logic, see in AU manager if VI / VE has been validated (if not please validate manually)
