Now that Synchrosoft has discontinued support and further development of the dongle - Where do we go from here?
I was asked by synchrosoft to get in touch with vendors of software product for any support. What is the future of USB Protection for Vienna Instruments?
What happens in case of broken and or lost dongles? Who will provide replacements? And what about future synchrosoft software updates?
Is VSL planning to move to iLok or something else?

syncrosoft has actually developed and released a new generation of USB protection devices (you won't notice from outside except they are a little bit darker) and i'm sure they continue development and mainenance of the license control center.
can you imagine literally 100-thousands of cubase users loosing their licenses? i cannot ...
let me add: i personally can't find too much advantages with iLok - everytime i'm managing licenses for an iLok i'm ending up with more than a dozend browser windows ... not very funny ...
