vista 64 or xp 64

I think before you make a choice, it would be good to tell us what problems you are having with Cubase.

Thank you, but with vsl all things is perfectly. The problem is with others programm like garritan violin. I wrote to them, but i ask if there is better xp 64 or vista 64 in an ask general. I don´t write well but thank you for all.

I'm using Cubase 5 together with Vist 64 Ultimate ...SP2 since yesterday.

Vista 64 works well and without any problem so far but you need to have the 64-drivers for your hardware. That's important.

XP is out. Windows 7 will be available soon (Oct.09? Nov.09? Dec.09?).

Keep in mind that you will be able to install Win7 over Win Vista but not over XP.

So if you need a system just now then I would choose Vista 64 SP2 - change to Win 7 later on.

Another possibility: Work with Win 7 Beta...
