My line breaks don't show up

Not sure what's up with your forum but all the line breaks (hard returns) do not show up when I post messages and it's going to be a pain for people to read what I'm posting. As you will see in this post I am going to write in parenthesis where I use line breaks(2 LINE BREAKS HERE) As you can see my text just flows in one huge paragraph. (2 LINE BREAKS HERE) I am trying to post using safari and firefox (latest non-beta releases) and running the latest OS X 10.5 on an Intel Mac Pro desktop machine. (2 LINE BREAKS HERE) Please let me know if this is a known issue as I would love to contribute to the forum and also have some of my questions answered without this glitch. (2 LINE BREAKS HERE) Thanks

This is a known issue due to a bug in Safari. I'm afraid that you'll have to do a search for more info.

Hi there,

I had this problem when I first registered (using IE8 Beta). If you go to your Profile Editor (User Area -> Profile), then click the "Community" tab, check what setting the Content Editor is in. If it's in Plain Text, switch it to Enhanced (standard may work as well, I'm not sure). This will format any text you enter in the forum message boxes as HTML, which will render your message as you typed it, line breaks and all!

I'm sorry to say that you're not alone with your problem, although the situation got better with the latest browser-generation. If nothing else helps, please refer to several threads in this forum for quick'n'dirty solutions, for example this one:

Thanks for all the replies. I now am able to use the wysiwyg editor. Thanks JayTee. We'll see once I post this if it works.
