For those of you who were left scratching their heads on why you couldn't find the Vienna Ensemble listed under the Available Devices in Sibelius 5.2.5, please read.
Open Sibelius up. Select Play/Playback Devices. You will notice that Vienna Ensemble is not listed under "Available Devices". Click Audio Engine Options, a window will pop up. Click Browse. This is where it gets a little tricky because if you are running any kind of recording software ie Sonar, Cubase etc, the Vienna Ensemble.dll probably ended up in one of your DAW's VST/Plugin folders. You basically have to select the folder where the Vienna Ensemble.dll is located. Go to your recordings software directory and find your shared Plugin folder. I found the Vienna Ensemble.dll in my Calkwalk Sonar 8 VSTplugins folder. Be aware that the Vienna Ensemble.dll is a hidden file so you won't be able to see it using the Sibelius browser. If you are not sure where the Vienna Ensemble.dll is, look for it using the Windows XP Run/Browse search function or use the Windows Explorer browser to find it. Once you find the Vienna Ensemble.dll select it in Sibelius, click OK and click Close. Now restart Sibelius. Vienna Ensemble should now show up in the Available Devices in Sibelius.
For G*d sake, someone needs to test this stuff before they make a video about it. This took some time to figure out. By the way, the intallation process for the Libraries and the SyncroSoft thing is a pain in the a** and the weird naming of the libraries, Extended, Standard, Full, +Plus is all very confusing. Nontheless these are extremely incredible products, good job Ilio!
If you are running Sonar, Steinberg etc software, Vienna Ensemble.dll might of ended up in one of your DAW's VST/Plugin folders,. This is what I did to make
