    Tried to download vienna software. I have vista ultimate 64 with SP1. Firefox "C:\Users\Andrew\Downloads\ViennaInstrumentsWIN-2.0-3232(3).exe.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator." Internet Explorer "Server timed out"

    could someone send me the file? i get to 70% complete then the downloader poops out with the server errors.

    Now Vienna Ensemble installer says "There was an error: The source file is corrupted"

    Yeah same thing here, any fix for this?? I tried 2 different browsres

     aptmusic, your IP address seems to be within the comcast network, scooterburger's IP is from sbcglobal (a company of AT&T)

     

    unfortunately both (comcast and AT&T) agreed to a deal with the RIAA regarding limiting P2P traffic (filesharing) and apperently the filter software they use does not work as expected (we had the same issue past mai when such a filter has been initially tested)

     

    obviously the used method is very dumb and - as expected - cannot decide between authorized and illegal downloads. basically i'd actually assume it is not even covered by any US law or contract you have with your internet access provider.

     

    as proof please have a look at the image below which shows a download from the vsl website initiated on an US server we own but is not located within the comcast or AT&T network ... so i'm sorry to say this issues are out of our sphere of influence

     just to let you know - we increased the timeout for the downloader significantly now and so hopefully have catched this issue.

    in case you still notice timeouts during downloading and write to support please include information about your type of internet connection (cable, ISDN, dialup, DSL, ect)
