Oh yeah, there could be an internet link on the 3.1 GUI that goes directly to a VSL store that sells download instruments and software.
So now they would have all these new customers staring at the VSL logo every day for the rest of their lives who would be 'one-click' away from purchasing the latest downloads. The new customer would be working and suddenly realize that they don't have an oboe - voila, the French Oboe shows up magically on their slave machine. Another new friend satisfied. Gee, they might have heard good things about Vienna Suite - maybe they should buy that too.
Another link on the GUI could be for the help manual & FAQs to offload technical questions. Like Omnishpere, create a button with a link to a page with the latest updates.
On a couple other forums I visit many people are already considering (and hoping for) VE3.1. Some are even planning their next slave computer purchase to coincide with its arrival. It is the logical answer for so many of us. There is a groundswell of anticipation. VSL would do well to take advantage of the goodwill extended towards them.
