    Hi,

    I purchased the Special Edition Bundle and successfully Licensed both the SE and SE Plus packages. note i purchased the standard bundle not extended.

    The SE package installed without problem. When i try to install the SE Plus Disc i receive a message, "The Following Licenses are needed to Install this Package: Vienna Instruments 20 Basic."

    I wasn't aware of any other licenses being required to install the bundle. I also have SOlo Strings I (Full -though i'm still having download issues with the extended license)

     sorry for not replying earlier - most probable reason: your VI / VE software and/or License Control Center is too old so not recognizing the license (since says _20 instead of SE PLUS) ... reboot before upgrading!

    Hi,

    I should've posted sooner but i was having too much fun with SE! Thanks, this was the problem. I downloaded and installed the latest software and it installed without a hitch.

    Yikes, what's this about "170 starts" on the key? I load and then delete a lot of demo licenses for effects plug-ins. Does this mean after 170 license transfers, the key can accept no additional licenses, regardless of how many are currently on it?

    No need to worry! The 180 starts on the keu is something that came with my new Vienna Key. It contains demo licenses for all VSL products, but i can only 'start' them 180 times. So basically i can try all of the level2 articulations for my SE bundle for example until i've used up all my 180 starts. I could also download all their Downloadable products and try those out too and have their full use until my 180 starts are used up.

    I think Christian mentioned that the key can hold about 100 licenses. I'm sure you can add/remove them to your hearts content!

     there are two kind of demo modes:

    - 180 starts without a date limit for all VSL applications (comes with every ViennaKey)

    - date license for a certain period with a certain number of starts for a specific VSL product only

     

    evreytime you instantiate or load something for which you don't have a permanent license on the attached key one start gets counted down

    Hi All, I'm experiencing the exact same problem but the Syncrosoft software is the latest version and so is the Vienna Instruments software - this is version 2.0.3232 the last shown on VSLs downloads page. Any other ideas I can try? Thank you.
