    I have some VSL stuff that are part of the Kontakt 3 library? Is there a way to use them or convert the .nkis to work in Vienna Ensemble?

    Hello and welcome Ashermusic [:)],

    Vienna Instruments and Vienna Ensemble work with a realtime lossless decompression - the samples contained in the Vienna Instruments Collection work exclusively with our software.

    The free VSL library included in Kontakt 3 can only be used in Kontakt 3, a conversion to the Vienna Instruments / Vienna Ensemble is not possible.

    If you want to take the next step, you should definitely take a look at the Special Edition, available as a DVD product or as a Download Product.

    just to have that added:

    herb already announced that in an upcomming version of Vienna Ensemble it will be possible to insert kontakt as plugin, but of course by far the special edition would be the better solution ;-)
