Hmm, does "host" mean I will have to choose wether to use MIR or -say - Logic as a host? Or will we be able to still use Logic (or whatever) an plug MIR in? And if so, can we use non-VSL-instruments with the MIR-reverb?@Dietz said:
MIR is not "the reverb plugin" of the Vienna Suite - it's a stand-alone mixing and reverberation engine (and host) for our Vienna Instruments.

I don't think there is ANYTHING more critical on my 'to buy' list than MIR. Thanks Dietz for keeping us updated as much as it makes good business sense to do do.
All the best,

To what extent would having both VE Pro and Vienna Suite obviate having MIR?
Nothing obviates having MIR. However, you can make plenty of good music without it.
Just remember that MIR will take a monster of a PC to run. Factor this into the cost as well.

The more recent tests tell me it's a pretty greedy animal.
