    I don´t understand what exactly you mean by "mapped instrument". Can you elaborate on this please?

Can you elaborate on this please? a mapped instrument is a Logic Environment object which could be compared to a DrumMap within Cubase. It lets one name MIDI NoteNumbers with Instrument/Articulation names - like snare, bass drum etc. hope that helps, best
