  • vienna ensemble: automatisation of effects plugin?

    Hello,

Can we automate via cubase or other sequencer the plugin insert of the vienna ensemble? To have access of parameters of plugin insertion and change it in realtime? Or is it "static" for the whole song for example a cutoff of a plugin filter will be the same for the whole song? in cubase : the read and write button, to make parameter becomes dynamic and in real time?

    best rregards

  • Well, I think VE must report it automation params when the instance is loaded and at that time it is impossible to tell for VE what plugins with which params are inserted in which insert slots.
There are unelegant work arounds (having a number of dummy automation params per slot) but that might not fit the workflow and the concept of VE.
It will not be easy to find a solution for that (although it would be highly appreciated).

Maybe I missunderstand your request, but Vienna Suite version 1.0.1039 supports automatistation.

  •  In short - no.

As steff3 pointed out, we would need to report back each tracks insert parameters to the connector plugin and dynamically alter the parameter list depending on the number of inserted plugins inside VE. For a typical setup, this would amount to several hundred parameters, which would be very inconvenient.

Yes Vienna Suite version 1.0.1039 supports automatisation  but if undestand the other answer it's not useful or

usable  inside Vienna ensemble : very damage! but we can do without this in using different output in vienna ensemble and use the plugin as insert in the sequencer rather than insert in Vienna ensemble who is a static mixer
