Sibelius 5.2.5 and Vienna Special Edition Latency problems

I'm running Vienna SE and Sib 5.2.5 on Windows XP with 2.8 ghz and 2 gigs of Ram. When attempting to use Vienna SE sounds in conjunction with Kontakt 2 devices in Sibelius running Virtual Drumline Sounds and Sibelius Essential Sounds, the VSE sounds playback late. Is there a way to counteract this?

This behaviour is new to me. All that comes to my mind is somehow delaying the signals for Kontakt 2, but you can't "undelay" the sounds from Vienna Ensemble.

Daniel from Sibelius confirmed recently to me that Sibelius Automatic Latency correction is broken in the current version (look on their forum). Be sure to set your VE latency slider to 0 and use low Asio buffers. Occasionally I need to adjust note starts to have appropriate playback. A pain in the ass, I tell you..
