I could not find any clear answer about this in the forum, but it looks to me, that VE2 (2.0.3238) is still not supporting multi-core usage. According to logic just one of my (Mac 2 x 2,8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon 16 GB ram) processors is used by VE, while other processors are not used at all and mac activity monitor says that about 80 % of the processors are inactive. I´m using three instances of VE in different channel strips, so it should not be a problem of one channel only beeing able to be handled by one core. . Is this any different with VE3? Do I get better performance, switching back to Vienna Instruments?
