    I was wondering...are all the Mussorgsky demos in the classical section of the demo zone mixed with MIR?

    Mussorgsky's "Pictures" in our Demo Zone were mixed using MIR-[b]principles[/b], not on behalf of the MIR itself (in the sense of a finished product). Back then, this big and tedious production was partly meant as proof of concept, as well as a good opportunity to get a feel for the Do's and Dont's of multi-impulse-response usage.

    Many of the ideas and results we got from these mixes were incorporated in the more elaborated, recent concepts of the MIR. Especially the 5.1 surround mixes were very interesting :-)

    That said, I should add that these pieces can't be seen as actual MIR-"demos", but I hope there will be plenty of them soon.
