Trouble Installing SP Plus

Hi I've just bought the Special Edition Bundle and i'm having some trouble installing the SP Plus. When i try and run the package file i'm told i need a vienna 20 basic licience ? Ive had my activation codes and successfully registered them with the Syncrosoft Control centre and i can see both liciences on my Vienna Key. I'm running a quad core mac with the latest copy of OSX and Logic 8. Anyone had similar problems ?

I've had a similar thing with installing the Upright bass ... All I had to do was to get the newest License Control Centre, and the newest Vienna Instruments software .. after that it ran fine. The problem is if the license you've bought isn't included with your current version of the VI software then it won't let you run it. So I'd say update you VI software and see if that helps. The Syncrosoft stuff maybe okay if it's already let you have the license.

 I've updated the VI sofware and still have the same problem. I'm assuming that the fact i authorised the vienna key on a different computer souldn't matter ? is there somthing i'm missing about a level 2 licience or should i have got this when i activated the SP Plus.

Hi phasemusic,

for safety, download the latest versions of both the Vienna Software and the Syncrosoft LCC again, then restart your computer (in case any processes are active in the background) and launch the installer again.

this message indicates clearly your vienna software is too old (maybe you installed the one from the CD which came with the special edition)

 

in any case follow the instructions paul gave: download the latest and reboot _before_ installing
