Back when we had the previous forum software SvK did a posting of his channel EQ presets in Logic for Appasssionata Vlns, Va's, VC's and Basses.
That's probably the string you're looking for.
It could be hard to find with the newer search software.
It was quite interesting to many of us. Maybe someday he will take the time to revisit this.
Here is the original post from another nice forum: http://vi-control.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5961&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=vsl&start=0
where all the pics of the eq presets are gone, I´m afraid, but I saved them and you can download them here:
Read the first one if you want to read Dietz comments and more.

Hello Johnny
the link to http://hem.bredband.net/b807883/Here%20are%20the%20EQ%20settings%20for%20VSL%20strings%20By%20SvK.zip
is broken
Is it possible that you mend it
Thanks
Cyril
Hi folks. Also looking for the EQ preset references - could anyone kindly repost?
On another thought - are the EQ presets posted here similar in nature to what the Vienna Suite comes with? I'm trying to get specific guidance, but I don't need another EQ in my arsenal...I might demo them just to check out the settings, but not interested in the plugins themselves.

Apart from the fact that there are 500+ tailor-made presets for Vienna Instruments available with Vienna Suite, the four presets mentioned above seem to serve a similar purpose. 😊
Kind regards,
Dietz - the presets are very much appreciated. But since mixing is subjective - I just need a few starting points, don't need 500+ presets which I'm not going to have the time to appreciate anyway. PLUS - I trust my current tools (EQs / compressors) which I rely on daily. I don't need another car if all I'm asking for is directions... But thanks for pitching your product ;).

Best regards and happy holidays everyone, including our guru Dietz,

Ps. If you want eq suggestions/startingpoints for just about all the vsl instruments, be sure to check out the vienna suite too. :-)
AND! Be sure to thank SvK in any way, maybe in another great forum called vi-control? ;-)
