honestly, i don't know ... and i don't find it so cheap ....
Dual Core AMD Opteron® 2212; 2.0GHz,2X1MB Cache,1Ghz HyperTransport
4GB, 667MHz, 4x1GB Single Ranked DIMMs
73GB1 15K RPM Serial-Attach SCSI 3Gbps - No Operating System - no DVD ... 1.400 $
in german i would call such an offered configuration and price *bauernfängerei* ... (plumper?)
unfortuantely i don't know the chipsets and am not the biggest friend of AMD at all .... but what would disturb me most is the limitation of 2 internal harddisks and having only a single PCIe x8 _or_ PCI-X slot open ... this could leave you easily with the decision to add either a firewire or an audio device ...
another (for me open) point is the ATI ES1000 for which i currently don't know how good the drivers are (lately had troubles with vista64 drivers for this GPU) which wouldn't matter of course if you are intending ro access it via remote desktop, but you would not find any grafic card for the available slots ...
sorry if this reply might sound too negative, but i cant agree on this machine with good conscience ...
