    Hi galdson,

    the Universal Mode is a matrix that needs articulations which are only contained in the Extended Libraries of our "big" VI collections (like Fast Legato).

    The Special Edition PLUS gives you GREAT additional articulations for instruments included in the Special Edition.

    galdson, I have never used Universal Mode since getting the VI over two years ago. It is much better for me to make my own matrices. There are certain settings (Speed, for example) that you have to tweak a bit until they work well, but I find that my versions are so much better for my workflow.
