    How does the performance tool deal with multitimbral phrases?

    For instance, if I have a phrase in thirds that I want to be legato, do I need to split these into two different midi channels or on two different staves?

    Also, what happens in the event of an arpegiated chord where the notes are all held for the duration of a measure. Does the legato tool cause these to be played legato. How do I prevent this from happening?
