  • Dyn Range settings in Vienna software.......

Big Bug in Vienna software....... Set up 2 keyswitches with velocity crossfading enable. Make them sustain patches (sus celli will do).....set the 2nd keyswitches "Dyn Range" to a fairly low number, like 4.....now hold down a note on sus celli (vel cross fader @ o), while holding down the note invoke the 2nd keyswitch...The volume JUMPS up drastically. SvK

  • That's no bug, if you want to have same volume you have to set the same values in the "DynRange" fields.

  • Herb, I don't...I want different Dyn Range settings for different cells..........Many are not optimal. SvK

  • OK, but you can't expect a working crossfade between two different patches with different Dyn Range settings,

it's physically impossible two blend these patches without any volume jumps.

It would be nice if you could correct the topic title.

  • Herb....done!....I am not making myself clear.......while holding down the first chord and not letting go.....then pressing the key switch STILL holding that chord forces volume to jump up.... SvK
