  • We are very disappointed with you VSL...

OK, it really pains me to have to air this. We are very unhappy with VSL and the complete failure to answer our question concerning installing a single full Symphonic Cube library on two systems, and whether it would require our purchasing two separate libraries or licenses, or if it was OK to work in adjacent studios sharing one library from a RAID system, whilst scoring the mockups for a major feature film. I originally contacted VSL some time ago and had to send a "nag" email because no-one initially replied. I was eventually told to contact the appropriate department, via email, and left this to my collaborator/business partner to follow up. He did and went off to LA, kind of expecting a reply on his return. So far no-one has bothered to answer to our question. I find this kind of indifference unprofessional, shocking and, well, rude! Perhaps there is a legitimate reason for this; if so, it would be nice to hear and I'll be the first to apologise, should there be an innocent reason for this silence. VSL: this is a small market. You should treat your customers with more care. I was in at the start: I was probably the first person in the UK to use the library on TV. I don't appreciate this kind of treatment: do you think it's acceptable? It's not the first time I've had to send repeated prompts to get an answer to a question. Get your fingers out, please guys, and show your customers some professional respect, after we invest so much money into your company.

  • OK, we have now received an answer from VSL and are happy that this has been resolved. Thanks guys: appreciate the help in the end.

  • i'd like to take the opportunity to mention the support and sales team usually replies within 24 hours - though you might be charged seperately for weekend service ;-)

nevertheless due to the constantly growing amount of spam it _can_ happen an email gets lost - please feel free to resend your request in such a case.
