Special edition installation problem

Hallo, I have a installation problem with SE. I have a mac pro 8 core and because of a harddiskproblem I had to remove the SE. I wanted to reïnstall the SE (after uninstalling and moving the plug-ins to the trash) but after downloading the latest version and installing succesfully, the 'vienna instrument installer' won't open !! So I can not import the sounds into my mac. (I can open the standaloneplayer and the directory manager) What to do? thanx Dirk

which OS are you working on? Did you try to empty your trash?

This seems to be about the "Vienna Instruments Library Installer", as the standalone is working, right?

Hallo Paul, I work on Leopard 10.5.2 I emptied the trash; The standalone version opens, but I can't work with it because there are no sounds on my computer; because I can't run the library installer ... thanks for helping.. Dirk
