I just bought and downloaded the 'Soprano Choir' sample set but I can't unpack the files on RARX, Stuffit Expander or Juicer on both my Mac and PC.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an installation guide to all this somewhere?
Thanks

Hi there,
You have to use the Vienna Instrument Library Installer. When you run this installer, it will ask you where the package info file is which should be included with the soprano choir files you downloaded off of the VSL site. After doing this, the setup wizard will begin and then you can choose where you want to extract the files.
The Vienna Instrument Library Installer is included when you download the Vienna Instrument Software Installer off the Vienna website.
These are the five options I have:
Vienna Ensemble Software 2.0.2870 (Windows XP, VISTA, 32 + 64 bit) | 17.7 MB | 2008-02-04 16:53 |
Vienna Ensemble Software 2.0.2869 (MAC OS X 10.4, 10.5, 32 bit) | 37.9 MB | 2008-02-04 16:54 |
Vienna Instruments Software Installer WIN 1.14 | 10.0 MB | 2007-11-29 15:31 |
Vienna Instruments Software Installer OS X Intel 1.14 | 24.1 MB | 2007-11-24 10:03 |
Vienna Instruments Software Installer OS X PPC 1.14 | 25.8 MB | 2007-11-24 10:17 |
I have a G5 iMac running OS X 10.3.9. Where can I find the installer that will work on my set up?
Hi HomicidalMac,
please install the VE PRO Software, unzip "V50standard.zip", drag all cab files to this folder and run the Library Installer. It will ask you to select the "package.info" file in the folder. Then the installation will start.
Best,
Paul
