    Why do custom presets (in preset select) only show up in VI standalone and not in instruments in VE?

    VE has a different path for the custom folder. You have to copy them over if you want them to appear in VE.

    Thanks for the quick reply.  What is the path for VE? - is it just simply putting them into the 'Vienna Ensemble' folder in 'program files'?

    No, this doesn't sound like the correct place. However, it depends on whether you are using Mac or PC. The best thing to do is to save a matrix from VE and see where the default is. This should be the correct place to put all your previously created presets.

    Thanks again - got it:

    For VI: C:\Program Files\Vienna Instruments\Custom Data

    For VE: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\VSL Custom Data

    This is obviously for Windows!
