  • Fast scale runs

Hi I'm working with Vienna Instrument and have a question: Have do I create fast scaleruns without using the prerecorded on's? Jesper

  • Performance trills.

That's what I was talking about. If you want any other sort of runs, it is dependant on instrument.

    Hi Jesper

Another VSL-User asked this question 1/2 year ago. I produced runs for several instruments. There are only

four of them left. You can listen to them here: http://www.beat-kaufmann.com/demos/index.html

Go to the E-MUSIC - Player and scroll down > 4 Examples

You will make out that the same run will appears 3 times.

    1. Normal Legato

    2. Fast Legato (Extended Library)

    3. Perf Trill (Extended Library - I believe)

    ...?

  •  Interesting Beat that the normal legato (especially on the Oboe) sounds the most 'realistic' (not too perfect as the notes are sort of slurring together).   Thanks for the example.   As mentioned by DG I usually have used the Perf trills but now should also consider the perf legatos.
