I noticed connections to the domain google-analytics.com everytime I click something in the forums here... what data is exchanged or matched here? Not that I'm scared, but I'm curious now, you having done major site changes and can't have the analytic part executed on your own servers?

the VSL website is using google analytics since quite some time now to improve the site structure embedding a javascript at the bottom of each page. this service allows to analyze aggregated data which have been made anonymous an does not collect prorsonalized information.
