    Running Logic 8.0.1 on Mac X.4.11 The Vienna Instruments work just fine on individual software instruments, but if I create a multitimbral instrument and try and insert VE as a plugin, the server window comes up, then VE comes up, but Logic is not responding and shows the spinning beachball until I force quit everything. Running on Pro Tools HD3 hardware with PT 7.4.cs2. I tried using the stock Logic TDM load and had the same results so it's not my autoload file. I was hoping to build a string section to use across eight or nine tracks that I am sweetening. Any thoughts? I installed the newest versions and it made no difference.

    I actually have the same problem and disabled VE and run the VI's individually. However, that was before the more recent update so I might try it again. :)
