Where Are These Presets Stored in Logic?
I created some custom patches in Vienna Instruments in Logic (Not Vienna Ensemble). They appear in Logic 8 at the bottom of the window of available patches for the VSL plug in under USER ......I've gone to a new Mac tonight, and I have copied many of the preference files over to the new Mac without problems, but I cannot seem to find out where these many presets were stored so that I can get them off my old Mac. Any ideas? Thanks Tom

i'd assume the secret is the custom data folder which should be /users/shared/VSL Custom Data after installation (for VI and VE).
the location should have read & write permissions (check in finder).
if this is all correct and you don't see the presets after copying you possibly had a VI instance already running during the copy process and need to reboot or at least restart logic

This is so weird, I found that folder on my original drive....and there is nothing in it! Quite a puzzle, I hate making all those patches over again....! Tom

so maybe you have set the custom data folder to another location for your old setup? check DM on the old machine - again: could be different for VI and VE ...

ps: maybe a search for *.fxp points you into the right direction
