    Hi,

    I just purchased a new VI Special Edition which I am running on an Windows XP with 3GB RAM, Sonar, M-Audio Ozone etc. I have correctly installed everything and set it up but I get NO sound from both the standalone player and as a plug in in my sequencer. I use the M-Audio Ozone as a sound card and all my other VSTs are wotking fine and can be triggered using the M-Audio, it is only the Special Edition that isn't working. Any help would be appreciated. Regards

    do you see midi arriving in the VI (inner circle of LEDs) and have you double checked audio device, sample rate and midi device (standalone) _and_ some preset/matrix/patch loaded?

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

    Just to make sure: check that the "Expression" fader is all the way up... I had this problem once and was going nuts... only to realize the VI's were initiated with this fader down, although it had been saved correctly.
