Questions about installing the downloaded VI Concert Guitar ?
Hello I ordered today the Vienna Instrument Concert Guitar + 1 Vienna Key and downloaded this evening all the files for the Concert Guitar. Before starting my questions, here are my computer infos : iMac (Alu) Intel C2 Duo - 2,4 Ghz - 4 Gb RAM - Logic Pro 8.0.1 - Sibelius 5.1 ... M-Audio FW Soundcard + 2 x Alesis monitors. My OS is OS X 10.4.11. 1° The instructions given on VSL website about how to proceed are : download the .zip file and double-click it. This will create a folder containing the package.info file. Then download the .cab files and put them into the folder you have just created. Then run the VI software Player etc... Ok ! But when I double click the .zip file for the package.info, I get only the "package.info" file, their is no folder created at all ! So should I create this folder myself ? And in this case can I give this folder the name I want or is their a specific name to use for it ? 2° As I have ordered the full Concert Guitar, standard + Extended, should I create 2 folders for each librairy or only one and put their all the files ? 3° I have checked the .cab files with "Get Infos" in the Finder : it says open with Stuffit Expander. Should I expand all the files or not and use them as .cab files once I will run the VI software player ? Last : is their a location where I should put the Concert Guitar library for using it ? I was searching for explanations but didn't find anything ! Really thank's for help. Regards Jean Jacques

Dear JJacks,
please create a folder for each product on our dektop and drag the corresponding "package.info" and ".cab" files to the folders. After doing so please start the application "Vienna Instruments Library Installer", select "package.info" and proceed as explained in our quicktime movie <Register & Install> here
When the content installation is finished you can delete the created folders (containing package.info and .cab files) on your desktop.
Best regards,
Maya
