    I have come to use Special Edition tonight and I have no presets in the right window of my Vienna Instrument. I think this is the first time I have used it since buying Logic 8. I know it used to work. It does the same thing in stand alone mode. I have tried rescanning in the directory manager but still get nothing. Should I continue trying or is this a known bug that is being sorted out? Andy

    welcome andy,

    ahead i'm assuming the license is listed properly in your syncrosoft license control center.

    please check if your custom data folder is set properly to an existing location (directory manager) and permissions on this folder are set to read and write (finder).

    i'd also recommend to run the disk utility to make sure permissions are ok on your system volume.

     

    i recommend to reboot ALWAYS before running any updates and check permissions after updating something on OS X.

     

    if nothing above helped you could also try to remove all added locations in the directory manager and add them again (use drag & drop from a finder window at best) and/or re-install the Vienna Instruments software.
