    Right now in Logic I have 3 instances of VE, and I only want one. When I use the "active instances" window and double click an instance, I then click the red close button on the window (Mac), and it says "Do you want to save changes?" I say yes, it closes, but the "active instances" window still shows 3 instances. Nothing is shutting down, and I don't want to keep adding instances. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks Tom

    on a mac you have to distinguish between *close* (window) and *quit* (application) - i'm pretty sure this also applies to instances of the VE

    and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.

    But I don't want to QUIT the application (which gives you a warning that the host program might crash if you do)....I just want remove an instance so I only have one instance up.... Tom
