Help with Demos.....

Hello there, I am not sure If any one may be able to help. I feel very stupid, I am trying to learn all these new things with the VSL, I have Special Edt, and Solo Strings. There are demos on some of the pages here, and there are tutorials, but how do I get them to work within Logic 8? as stated I am being stupid I am sure..... Thanks.... Kind regards Richard.

I believe that the tutorials usually consist of a midi file and a .fxp file. The .fxp file you would open in the Vienna Instrument Player which would load the settings and samples that the composer/producer used when creating the midi file. I don't use Logic, but you would probably just import the midi file into an empty midi track or (as in Sonar) just open the midi file directly.

sorry for the late reply.

For the Special Edition Demo #1, simply download the project files from here , follow the instructions in the readme file for Logic and simply open the Logic song. That´s it 😊

Is this for the VSL SE or the old Performance Tool. before the SE. ty

it is for the "old" Performance Tool, you don´t need it for the Special Edition.
