    Hi..

    I have

    17Mac book pro with 4 gig ram and the 7200 rpm drive. running os10.4.10

    App both standard and etended

    Cubase 4.1 

     

    the issue:

    When I turn the computer on I launch Cubase. Cubase launches fine. I can open  anew project open a VST instrument no problem.

    When I try to open VSL vst instrument I get the beach ball. From the force quet list I see the Cubase is not responding.

    Now, when I forcse quit and re launch cubase the VSL opens fine.

    Not sure why.

    Any help....Thank you.

    Maybe you force quit too soon. VI has to check the licences on the dongle. This takes time.

     But it shows hat cubase not reponding any more.

    and when I re launch it it opens right away...

    When you re-launch it has already checked the licences.
